The 5-Axis Auto Tuning System measures geometric error using a touch probe and datum sphere, and performs compensation using measurement results to optimise the movement accuracy on 5-axis machines.

Okuma's SERVONAVI® serves a critical purpose: it improves cycle times and accuracy when you’re machining heavy parts. Available on select machining center models equipped with the P-300SA and P-300MA controls, this Intelligent Technology offers work weight auto settings, reversal spike auto adjustments, and vibration auto adjustments. Ultimately, by adjusting machine speeds based on weight—weights that change dramatically during jobs—SERVONAVI allows for high-precision machining.
Thermo-Friendly Concept
Machines with Thermo-Friendly Concept are designed to respond to heat in certain manageable conditions. Coupled with very accurate thermal deformation compensation, Thermo-Friendly Concept achieves highly stable accuracy over long, continuous runs and also eliminating warm-up times.
Variable Spindle Speed Threading
Variable Spindle Speed Threading function (VSST) is intended to eliminate chattering generated during threading by using the spindle speed override.
