As we continue to uphold our Okuma Monozukuri philosophy (the art of making things better), we are pleased to announce the expansion of our SA branch. This expansion aims to enhance our services for both our loyal existing customers and new customers.

Guy Wallis, our current Applications Engineer, has over 6 years of experience at Okuma, 15+ years of Engineering Software sales experience plus a trade background. He has been instrumental in providing exceptional training and support not only to our SA branch and customer base, but also across Australia. Guy's strong technical skills, coupled with his ability to offer sales support, have led him to transition into a Sales Engineer role to further assist our valued Okuma customers.

“I am thrilled to be transitioning from Applications to Sales Engineer with Okuma. I have a passion for the industry and helping customers. With my technical background and the support of our dedicated National team, I am confident that I can collaborate closely with customers to help them achieve productive and successful outcomes with our Okuma CNC machines,” commented Guy Wallis, “Being part of a market-leading company and working alongside a team that is truly passionate about what they do and the industry they serve makes me excited to begin this new chapter!”

With Guy's move to Sales, this creates an opportunity for an additional Applications team member to increase support across this expanding market. We, therefore, are excited to announce Tom Carson has joined the South Australian team. Tom has a strong background in engineering and has previous experience working in the manufacturing industry and programming the latest Okuma machines..

“We are always working on our Monozukuri philosophy in order to retain our premier market position, assist our customers, and our employee's career pathways and passions. Having an additional team member and with Guy’s transition to Sales Engineer, the S.A. Branch we will be in an even stronger position to provide the support our customers expect and deserve,” commented Rob Hall, Branch Manager, SA.
